You already know that resistance training is essential for increasing muscular strength, but do you also know it increases bone density and neuromuscular efficiency, thus improving balance and reducing fall risk? In short, you don't have to be an Olympic athlete to get strong. Just push yourself a little further — one rep, one pound, one minute at a time — and you will see results.
